About the Journal
The 1st International Conference on Engineering, Technology & Social Science (ICETSS 2024) is organized by Politeknik Negeri Medan, Indonesia in collaboration with Politeknik Negeri Padang, Indonesia, which will be held in a virtual conference, on the 18th of July 2024. The objective of the multidisciplinary conference is to gather leading academicians, scholars and researchers to share their knowledge and new ideas as well as to discuss current development in their respective fields. In addition, the conference also offers opportunities for academicians and industry experts to meet and interact with local and international participants. The theme "Empowering TVET Towards Accelerating Artificial Intelligence (AI) Transformation" encompasses the idea of leveraging Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) to prepare individuals for the rapid integration and adoption of Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies across various industries and sectors. The combinations of engineering, information technology, and entrepreneurship contribute to the development of Industrial Revolutions IR 4.0. Therefore, in this upcoming ICETSS 2024 we are addressing on engineering as the socio-technical task, the design of products and services, and the entrepreneurial innovation process. The International Conference on Engineering, Technology & Social Science brings together leading academia, researchers and academic practitioners, contributing to the global debate on engineering, technology and innovation.
