The Relationship Between Airport Image, National Identity and Passenger Delight: Case Study of Kuching International Airport

The need for air travel influences the development of new tourist destinations and types of tourism. The airport sector has constantly witnessed growth in the tourism and transportation sectors. This study investigates at Kuching International Airport to see how national identity and airport image affect passenger delight. 200 questionnaires were distributed to both local and international travellers at Kuching International Airport. The major data analysis approach was Hierarchical Moderated Regression. The findings revealed a substantial positive association between national identity and airport image in terms of passenger delight.
